The idea of GINuary was first born at The Deck Bar in January, 2013. It proved so popular amongst patrons and staff that is was brought back bigger and better in 2014! Other venues across town took up the call to unite for GINuary and in only its second year, it has spread across a multitude of venues in the Top End of Australia!

DJ Spotlight Messie
Jessie Weyand, also known as DJ Messie is a beloved DJ of The Deck Bar as well as a budding fashion designer! Working at The Deck Bar, Messie has been able to combine both by being a regular Sunday Sesh DJ and designing The Deck Bar's very first lot of Sunday Sesh branded T shirts and singlets!!
Jessie moved back to Brisbane a few months back, but is returning for one night only to reclaim her spot in the DJ booth & release our exclusive tops!!
